About

Susanne Jung`s approach is driven by the sensation of color. She understands her work as a process of transformation of the experienced. Deeply inspired by architecture, music and the Buddhist caves NW of China Jung is developing color vibrations in various materials.
She has already traveled its stations -Bezelik caves in Turfan, Mogao Caves Dunhuang, Kizil caves near Kucqa, Western Thousand Buddha Caves in Dang He and Yulin caves in Gansu. In the meantime, she developed her artistic bridge building between the respective forms, aesthetics and visual sensibility. The artist herself has built an image, her image, from the visual vocabulary and simultaneously translated it—like a language—into another non-representational painting style.
